“NOCZ is confident that with this knowledge, you will make positive contributions to society and support the continued growth of sports development in Zambia,” said Kambikambi.

NOCZ President Alfred Foloko described the graduation as not only a personal milestone for each participant but also a testament to their shared commitment to advancing professionalism and capacity in sports management.

Foloko reaffirmed NOCZ’s commitment, with support from the IOC, to continuously empower sports personnel and keep their knowledge relevant in an ever-evolving sports landscape.

“We desire to see more sports administrators, coaches, and professionals take up this course because we believe that building people is the foundation for building sports in Zambia,” Foloko said.

He highlighted the growing interest in the ASMC as an encouraging sign, reflecting the eagerness of individuals from various sporting disciplines to sharpen their skills, expand their knowledge, and contribute meaningfully to national development.

Foloko also expressed gratitude to Secretary General Kambikambi and the NOCZ team for their dedication and efforts in successfully delivering the second edition of the program.

He further extended his congratulations to the newly elected President of the International Olympic Committee, Kirsty Coventry, and reaffirmed the IOC’s unwavering commitment to strengthening the management and administration of sport in the country.

In closing the ceremony, special awards were presented to the course directors in recognition of their unwavering support, exceptional leadership, and steadfast commitment throughout the program.

Meanwhile, Chomba Mwenya who spoke on behalf of the graduates paid gratitude to the NOCZ for the smooth delivery of the Advanced Sports Management Course (ASMC) adding that students will use the knowledge acquired to make an impact in their respective organizations and see that sport continues to develop in the country.
