Foloko Congratulates Elton Zulu on Earning Master’s Degree

National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) President Alfred Foloko congratulated Elton Zulu on completing his Master’s Degree in Sports Management at Seoul National University, Republic of Korea.

Zulu paid a courtesy call to the NOCZ Secretariat on 29 January 2026, where he met with President Alfred Foloko and NOCZ Secretary General Boniface Kambikambi.

Foloko stated that the NOCZ Executive was proud of Zulu’s achievement and commended his commitment to academic excellence. He urged him to utilise the knowledge and skills acquired to contribute meaningfully to the development and professionalisation of sport in Zambia.

NOCZ Secretary General Boniface Kambikambi described Zulu’s achievement as a major milestone, expressing confidence that he will continue to excel and put his knowledge into good use and practice for the benefit of Zambian sport.

Meanwhile, Zulu expressed his gratitude to the NOCZ for the support rendered throughout his academic journey, which enabled him to attain this inspiring achievement.

Zulu received a full scholarship after being nominated by the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) through the National Olympic Committee of Zambia. He participated in the Dream Together Master Programme at Seoul National University, which enabled him to pursue a Master’s Degree in Sports Management.

ANOC and Seoul National University have partnered since 2015, with over 40 students from National Olympic Committees worldwide benefiting from the programme. For the academic year 2024–2025, Zulu was one of only four ANOC scholars accepted into the programme, alongside students from India, Myanmar, and Namibia.
