The National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) has commenced the 2025 Advanced Sports Management Course (ASMC) Cohort III, uniting sports administrators from national federations and institutions.
Program Director Boniface Kambikambi and Course Director Mwembe Kaona are facilitating the course under the Olympic Solidarity framework and are guiding participants through the opening module titled “Managing Olympic Sports Organisations (MOSO).”

In his opening remarks, NOCZ Secretary General Boniface Kambikambi welcomed the new cohort and expressed the Committee’s commitment to strengthening sports administration and governance through continuous education.
Kambikambi emphasized that the ASMC provides participants with practical knowledge and modern management tools essential for advancing their respective organisations.
He further outlined the structure of the course, explaining that participants will go through a series of modules covering key areas, including strategic management, human resources, marketing, and event organisation.
He encouraged learners to actively participate and engage in discussions, group work, and assignments, as the course emphasizes a hands-on and collaborative approach.
As the 2025 ASMC Cohort III takes off, the NOCZ continues to reaffirm its mission to build capacity among sports administrators and ensure that national sports federations are managed effectively, transparently, and in alignment with the Olympic values of excellence, respect, and friendship.
