NOCZ Represented at ANOCA Secretaries General Meeting in Mozambique

The National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) attended the 41st meeting of the Secretaries General of African National Olympic Committees (NOCs) in Maputo, Mozambique, from 27 to 28 September 2025 under the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA).
The seminar was held under the theme “2021 to 2024 Quadrennial Plan: Implementation, Evaluation, Lessons Learned, and Strategic Objectives for 2025 to 2028.”
The gathering brought together representatives from the 54 African National Olympic Committees to collectively reflect on the future of sport across the continent.
Representing Zambia was NOCZ Secretary General Boniface Kambikambi, accompanied by NOCZ Administration Officer Cynthia Mwakamela.

Also in attendance was NOCZ President Alfred Foloko, who participated in his capacity as 3rd Vice President of ANOCA.
Discussions at the meeting focused on key issues such as financial governance, crisis management, the integration of artificial intelligence in sport, the promotion of young talent through the Olympafrica project, and the development of an ambitious roadmap for 2025 to 2028.
The session provided a unique platform for dialogue, innovation, and cooperation aimed at strengthening the African Olympic movement and preparing for its future.
