Zambia Concludes Commonwealth Sport eqUIP Workshop

The Commonwealth Games Association of Zambia (CGA Zambia) concluded the Commonwealth Sport eqUIP Workshop, which ended on 10 October 2025 after five impactful days of learning, collaboration, and networking.
The workshop brought together interns and their supervisors in an engaging and insightful environment. The sessions were not only educational but also inspiring and transformative, equipping participants with valuable knowledge and skills.

CGA Zambia Secretary General Boniface Kambikambi said the association is grateful to the Commonwealth Sport for selecting Zambia as this year’s host.
Kambikambi noted that it was a true privilege to showcase Zambia’s culture and share in the connections and growth that come with such an opportunity.
He also acknowledged the Regional Manager for Africa and Europe, Ezera Tshabangu, together with her team Jeremiah Mpofu, Catherine Cherotich, Conal Heatley, and Sarah McQuade for their passionate leadership and unwavering commitment to excellence. Their dedication, he said, was instrumental in making the program a success.
Meanwhile, the Regional Manager for Africa and Europe, Ezera Tshabangu, commended CGA Zambia for hosting the Commonwealth Sport eqUIP Workshop and for the warm hospitality extended to all participants.
Tshabangu encouraged supervisors and interns to continue working together to apply the lessons learned throughout the program.
The five-day workshop from 6 to 10 October 2025 marked an important milestone in promoting leadership, collaboration, and professional growth within the Commonwealth Sport movement.
