NOCZ MOURNS DEATH OF FAZ VICE PRESIDENT

On behalf of the National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) Executive Board, I extend sincere heartfelt condolences to the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) and the family of the deceased FAZ Vice President Mr. Rix Mweemba

It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing away of Mr. Mweemba in the early hours of Tuesday 6 October 2020 Mr. Mweemba’s death is a major loss for the football fraternity in Zambia.

I can only imagine what everyone is going through; having lost a leader in an association must be hard for FAZ and Mr. Mweemba’s family.

Mr. Mweemba was a great person with remarkable qualities and he will surely be remembered among acquaintances and friends.

The sports fraternity in Zambia has lost a great sports leader!
