The National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) has released its Fourth Quarter Newsletter for 2025, highlighting key achievements, milestones, and activities recorded as the year came to a close.
The newsletter captures Team Zambia’s commendable performance at the African Youth Games in Luanda, Angola, where the athletes secured three bronze medals, reflecting the growing depth of youth talent across different sports codes.
Also featured is the outstanding performance of skateboarding athlete Mukuka Chande, who brought pride to the nation after winning gold and silver medals at an international competition in Ethiopia, underlining Zambia’s continued rise in emerging sports.
On the capacity-building front, the newsletter highlights the commencement of the Advanced Sports Management Course (ASMC) Cohort III, alongside the successful completion of the Sports Administration Course (SAC) for 2025, reinforcing NOCZ’s commitment to strengthening sports leadership and governance in the country.
Further, the publication celebrates the activation of the Road to Dakar 2026, marking a significant step in Zambia’s preparations for the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games, as the nation intensifies athlete development and stakeholder engagement.
The Fourth Quarter Newsletter reflects NOCZ’s continued efforts to promote excellence, development and sustainability within the Olympic Movement, while laying a strong foundation for future international competitions.
