Over 20 sports administrators get certification as NOCZ concludes Sports Administration Course

The National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) has concluded the Sports Administration Course (SAC), which ran from 13 to 16 November 2025.
The course brought together women and men from various federations and sports organizations.
Over the four days, participants learned about the Foundation and Leadership of the Olympic Movement, Safeguarding in Sport, Risk, Health and Insurance in Sports, Sports Science, Medicine and Anti-doping, the Olympic Values Education Program, Project Management and Performance Evaluation, Managing Sports Organizations, among other key topics.
NOCZ Secretary General Boniface Kambikambi said the committee expects to see the impact and implementation of the knowledge gained.

He encouraged participants to start small and build on what they have learned.
Kambikambi also thanked all participants for their input and engagement, and expressed gratitude to the facilitators for their availability and commitment to the growth of sport in Zambia.
Meanwhile, Course Director Mwembe Kaona urged participants to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in their respective organizations.
And class representative Memory Malisawa expressed appreciation to NOCZ and the course facilitators for the knowledge gained in sports administration.
Malisawa said participants will use the information and skills to make a positive difference in their organizations.
NOCZ continues to train sports administrators through the Olympic Solidarity Program, reinforcing its commitment to developing skilled and knowledgeable sports leaders across the country.
