The National Olympic Committee of Zambia, through the Games Management Team for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, has announced the Athletes and Officials who will make up Team Zambia at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in France, taking place from 26 July to 11 August 2024.
Making the announcement during the Send Off Event for Team Zambia to Paris, held in partnership with Zambian Breweries on Saturday 7th July 2024, at the Alliance Française de Lusaka, Team Zambia Chef De Mission Rodrick Ndhlovu named a strong team of 32 athletes from five sports codes: Athletics, Boxing, Football, Judo, and Swimming.

Speaking during the event, CDM Ndhlovu revealed that "these athletes and officials, with support from other personnel, will represent Zambia in Paris. As we conclude, I must note that there is a possibility for one more athlete to join Team Zambia, pending the release of final rankings. We will share this information as soon as it becomes available."
He added, saying that "I'd like to inform you that our athletes have begun departing Zambia in a phased manner. Our boxing sensation, Patrick Chinyemba, is already in Paris for a pre-Games camp. The Copper Queens will follow shortly, with other athletes departing in succession. The entire team will regroup in Paris ahead of the Olympic Games."
